Dear Friends,

We are so thankful for your participation in our event "Evening of Enlightenment - Finding Local Solutions in Sudan" with our very special guest and project partner, Dr. Suad Sulaiman. We are proud to join together with Dr. Sulaiman to promote effective, local solutions to a critical human crisis. As a relief organization, we are dedicated to working on the local level to provide lasting solutions. This is a crucial issue that we must join together to address, through our diligent documentation at every step, our results-oriented focus ensures success for the local and global community.

We aim to raise $200,000 to build a pilot system including a completely community-owned well, water distribution system, and home drinking water programs to promote a system that will be fully self-sustainable, provide income generation opportunities, and reach over 10,000 people.

Ready for Reading Program under way...
Friday, August 10, 2007, 23:30
The children of Rwanda are ready for reading. The government has just enacted a law allowing all the children, male and female, to attend school for free. Unfortunately, they have no resources to provide books and proper teaching. The International Educational Exchange is teaming up with CAN-DO and is scheduled to leave for Rwanda in September 10th/2007 to implement and execute the Ready for Reading program.
