The children of Rwanda are ready for reading. The government has just enacted a law allowing all the children, male and female, to attend school for free. Unfortunately, they have no resources to provide books and proper teaching. The International Educational Exchange is teaming up with CAN-DO and is scheduled to leave for Rwanda in September 10th/2007 to implement and execute the Ready for Reading program.
CAN-DO (Compassion into Action Network - Direct Outcome Organization) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that donors can count on to get the job done. From natural disasters to humanitarian crises, we provide critical aid to communities who need it most in a timely and transparent manner.
